MIKADO - Whitefish Cup EU

Prepare your secret pellet mix, tie the strongest hooks, and head to the water for victory!
Every precise cast and every movement of the tip counts – you can't afford to miss a bite!
Compete with anglers from all over Europe, catch whitefish using any method at your favorite fishing spot – and fight for legendary prize sets from Mikado Total Fishing!

  1. The competition takes place on all waters across Europe.

  2. The competition will run from May 17, 2025 (05:00) to June 15, 2024 (23:59).

  3. The competition is FREE!

  4. Entries, along with photos, must be submitted exclusively through the Fiske mobile app (available for free on Android or iOS) – photos cannot be uploaded from the phone's memory (how to photograph a fish? See the infographic with instructions below).

  5. The photo must show a live, real fish – a photo from a newspaper or a screen will result in IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION!

  6. A single catch can only be submitted once for each competition – detection of a duplicated submission will result in DISQUALIFICATION!

  7. It is not allowed to submit a catch of a fish that has already been caught and submitted by another user, including in other competitions. Such a submission could raise suspicions among other participants about the integrity of further submissions. To ensure fair competition, we clearly state that second and subsequent submissions of the same fish will be rejected. In case of suspected unfair behavior, the participant may be DISQUALIFIED.

  8. Points are awarded according to the algorithm:
    points = (fish length / Polish record) * 1000

    Examples:

    Tench 40 cm: (40 / 66) * 1000 = 606 points

    Bream 50 cm: (50 / 76.5) * 1000 = 654 points

There is a limit of 3 submissions per species. Each species can be submitted up to three times; each fourth and subsequent submission of the same species will be ignored or will overwrite the smallest submitted fish.

    Example:
Carp 3 pieces, Bream 3 pieces, Ruffe 2 pieces, Roach 1 piece.
  9. The competition is also subject to the general rules of the Fiske app competitions (Section VI of the Regulations) and the Amateur Fishing Regulations.

  10. The fish submitted cannot be dirty with sand, soil, or blood – handle fish with respect – we recommend, but do not require, a fishing mat.

11. How to correctly submit your catch?

For a valid submission, the following are required (visible in the photo):

  • The fish placed on its right side, with the head facing left,

  • The correctly spread, unbent measure fully visible below the fish, starting from the fish's head,

  • A coin in any denomination of a European currency,

  • The coin visible at least halfway in the photo, placed near the measure – NEVER ON THE FISH.

  • Submissions of caught fish without the required coin are accepted, provided that the catch was photographed on a Fiske measuring mat, supplied directly by us and produced on our order.
